JOHN MILLER, CSCS, CPT
Manager
John has been a fitness professional for more than 15 years, the last 10 right here in Rhode Island. He first started training in NJ in 1991 before heading to NYC in 1995. After two years working at the Reebok Sports Club New York he decided to relocate to Rhode Island to work with a local Physical Therapy Clinic. Although John learned much from the Physical Therapy field, he felt his talents were better served in the one-on-one nature of Personal Training. It’s about helping others improve their lives whether it is aesthetics, function or performance. This equates to a happier healthier life!
John graduated from Rowan University in 1990 with a BS in Business Administration, but quickly transitioned into studying the human sciences at the local university. John presently is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the NSCA as well as a Certified Personal Trainer with the NASM. He is also C.P.R. and A.E.D certified by the American Heart Association.
His training philosophy begins with posture and the thought that you can’t fire a cannon from a canoe. Meaning let’s get the body in alignment and create some stability before we progress forward. It’s this philosophy that has helped John become one of the top trainers in RI.
RYAN CORREIA
PES, CPT
Ryan’s passion for fitness began in High School. As a football and baseball player, Ryan used fitness training as a way to increase performance on the field.
After spending six years in the furniture industry, Ryan decided to follow his passion and become a Fitness Professional. Ryan is currently a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist and a Certified Personal Trainer. He is also C.P.R. and A.E.D certified by the American Heart Association. Ryan’s mission is to help his clients create a healthy lifestyle in and outside of the Gym.
Ryan continues his pursuit for physical fitness to this day. When he is not in the Gym training, Ryan continues to build on his ten years of Martial Arts experience, by training for his next Submission Wrestling tournament.
BRETT JOHNSON
Personal Trainer
After spending four years studying exercise science, biomechanics, and exercise physiology at the University of Rhode Island Brett is able to adopt a wide range of knowledge for use in the studio. Alongside earning two bachelor degrees in exercise science and psychology Brett also has experience working in the physical therapy field. With this background combined with his passion for health and fitness he is able to effectively work with and communicate with his clients to best achieve their goals. Brett is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
As today’s society has become more sedentary Brett believes it is critical to train no matter what your daily activities are as a measure of good health and injury prevention. As a skier and hiker Brett uses this principle in his own training to enjoy his favorite activities to their fullest.

“Since my first session atFitness Together I knew that this place was going to change my life forever. Now I know that may sound like a fairy tale, but it is true! For all of the clients here at Fitness Together of Lincoln, I know most of you feel the same way…One thing for sure though, without Fitness Together and all of the trainers, I would not have been able to accomplish any of my fitness goals.”
